Changes in this Privacy Policy

From time to time, we may need to change our Privacy Policy because of changes in the law, technology, our business, or our attempts to better serve user needs. If we decide to change our Privacy Policy, we will post the changes within the Privacy Policy itself, with an alert on the homepage or in other places we deem appropriate. If we change how we use your Personal Information (defined below), we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on our homepage. We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. All information collected after any updates to the Privacy Policy will be subject to the new policy. If we make material changes to how we use the Personal Information (defined below) collected from children under age 13 in the United States or 16 in the European Union, we will notify Parents by email in order to obtain verifiable parental consent for the new use of the child’s Personal Information, to the extent required by law.

Children Under 13 (US) and Under 16 (EU)
We are very concerned about the safety of children online. We comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 2000 (“COPPA”) to the extent it applies to us and this Site and with GDPR as it relates to children. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children on our Site, which is for adults.

Types of Information Collected

REGO gathers two types of information through the Site: “Personal Information” and “Non-Personal Information”. Personal Information is information collected online that can be used to identify, contact or locate an individual. Non-Personal Information is information that does not reveal an individual’s specific identity, such as aggregated information, demographic information and IP addresses.

From time to time, the Site will offer an option to be contacted regarding events or offers. You must be 18 years or older to sign up for such notifications.  We collect the following Personal Information from adults when they sign up for these notices: First Name, Last Name, Email.  This same process also automatically captures Non-Personal Information in the form of the geographic location of the Internet Service Provider, allowing us to filter out requests from countries where these events and offers do not apply.

When you visit and interact with the Site, REGO and its third-party service providers may also collect other Non-Personal Information (for example, a catalog of the Site pages you visit). This Non-Personal Information is generally collected through the Site from server log files, environmental variables and cookies.

  • Server Log Files. Your Internet Protocol (IP) address is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet Service Provider (ISP). This number is identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever you visit the Site, along with the time(s) of your visit(s) and the page(s) that you visited. IP addresses may be used for purposes such as calculating Site usage levels, helping diagnose problems with the Site’s servers, and administering the Site. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet and is done automatically by many websites.
  • Environmental Variables. Certain environmental variables, such as your MAC address, computer type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, OS version, Internet browser, and Internet browser version may be collected. These environmental variables are collected by most websites, and can be used to optimize your experience on the Site.
  • Cookies.  A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. The cookie gives your device a unique, random ID, and this ID enables our Site to readily recognize each device on a subsequent visit to our Site. Our Site gets anonymous tracking data on the usage of our Site via a cookie provided by Google Analytics.  We do not link the information we store in cookies to any Personal Information you may submit while on our Site. As a rule, cookies make your browsing experience better. However, you may prefer to disable cookies on this Site and on others. The most effective way to do this is to use the “Cookie Settings” option shown at the bottom of the page. If you have already accepted cookies, you may change this using the “Manage consent” hovering on the bottom-right side of the page. For further information about how Google Analytics uses cookies and IP address data, see: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2838718?hl=en
    • Social Media. Clicking on a social “share” button can send data to our Google Analytics account and potentially to a third-party, for example Instagram, Twitter, Hubspot or LinkedIn.  When we run ads on social media, we may also place a cookie from that provider on our website so we can tell which visits are the result of one of those ads.

How Information Is Used

We use Personal Information in the following ways:

  1. Notifications and Alerts. If someone requests to be contacted regarding events or offers, we will use the Email address they provide to send them these notifications.

We use Non-Personal Information to better manage and secure our Site. For instance, this anonymous information may include your device’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site visited, the time and date of the visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics.
